Bloorcourt Fair

Yesterday after playing beach volleyball, I biked to the Bloorcourt arts and crafts fair to check it out. I was impressed by the level of skill and design put into the products at all the tables. I met Ting of Acidzip who makes fantastic porcupine quill jewelry and has a great sense of vintage style, and I bought this necklace she made. I love the necklace, and it has been over a year since I have bought any jewelry so I am super excited about it and will probably wear it every waking hour.

I met Shannon from Moonlight for Violet whose beehive-themed jewelry I am eyeing! I can't decide which is my favourite (not my photos):
I also met Lauren of the Clothing Brand Experiment, whose shirts I first was introduced to when visiting Bon Mot, a unique shop in Uptown Waterloo. I love her sense of design, and the process she went through to create these limited edition shirts is fascinating. (Not my photos)

I also met Nathalie of The Lime Shop, whose prints are so striking! (Not my photos)

Overall, it was a great show, and I topped it off by buying a long-overdue bicycle bell from home hardware and borrowing a screwdriver to install it from a kind guy selling appliances.
